Kids asked me if I brought any pets to camp.  I told them "no but I do have my bamboo plant Marshall here with me" instantly a kid wanted to make a leash for him so I could bring him everywhere.  I told him that Marshall really doesn't have legs so he and a few other campers went down to art and made this wonderful little satchel for me to carry him around in.  You could say hes now the mascot of my group, he does morning bunk inspection with me and only stays in the cleanest bunk.  He even had his very first sleepover!

Tonight was the counselor square dance.  My group didn't win, but we were not the first ones out!

Part of orientation week is the swim test.  It was freezing cold today, which meant the water was even colder.  Quite a shock to the system.

Right outside the girls bunk in front of the field house at camp.  We did quite the team building activity today which involved running all around the campus.

Me and one of my very good High School friends Melissa.  It had been awhile since we were able to catch up and gossip over some Starbucks, caramel frappacino with extra caramel drizzle our fave! Congrats to Melissa getting accepted into Grad School in Colorado! :)

Eating mac and cheese, and counting the noodles which we've done since we were about 10 years old.
