I have mono and my lymph nodes are real swollen, especially the ones on the back of my head and neck. The doctor told me to use a warm cloth to help.

Got woken up really early by some construction workers on my street. The weather was really nice so I decided to take a nice walk down to the pier. I love living this close to the lake, there is something really beautiful, and hopeful about large bodies of water.

Just got a new griddle, so I've been making pretty much everything on it. Before work I was making an everything bagel with jalapenos, american cheese, cream cheese and flipping the egg.

My parents came down for my band concert, and they ended up getting 'snowed in'. They spent the night at this cute little inn that is pretty close to my house, County Clare Inn. We went on the Lakefront Brewery tour the next day. It was nice to show them something in the city that I've learned to love over the past six years.

Day 62

Had my first band concert of the semester. We played Fanfare from La Peri by Paul Dukas, Mysterian Landscapes by Timothy Broege, Rikudim by Jan van der Roost, and Midway March by John Williams. My favorite piece to play was probably Rikudim.
