I had my first meeting of the semester about my senior photography project with my professor Hans today. I feel like I'm at a good place at the beginning of the semester. A little nervous about it all as well. Also really excited to get everything pieced together.

Day 27
Day 26

I love being scheduled as much as I have been this week. However with a busy work and school schedule my house tends to get neglected. Today, mounds and mounds of dishes to finish.

Day 25
After three semesters without it, I was finally able to fit band back into my schedule. Today were auditions for chair placement. Realizing when I was quickly reading over the audition excerpt that playing my trumpet, or music in general is probably the next best thing to photography.

Day 24

My college days are coming to an end and recently I realized I've had 26 roommates/housemates and lived in about 8 places throughout my undergrad experience.
2006-2007 north tower in Sandburg: Maddie, Lauren, and Jessica.
2007-2008 Disney internship down in Florida(this ones a bit fuzzy): Kristen, Sherrin, Crystal, Jessica, Maïmouna, and Paola. Florida was also my most interesting living situation. We could have up to 4 different languages happening at once.
spring 2008: Diana, Ashley, Ben, and Rachael
summer 2008: Wati, Kate, and Brandi
2008-2009: Erin, Konnor, and Ben C.
Summer of 2009: Sofia, and Sarah
2009-2010: Jenna, and Genny(the guys living below us, but I don't count them)
summer 2010: Lindsay and Sarah again.
summer 2011: Clare and Wati again.
This photograph is taken in front of my current home where I have lived by myself for the last two years. It has been really nice not moving after all those previous moves. Although I've pretty much enjoyed all my living situations. I'm questioning next year more and more, and my housing is definitely one of the questions. Sadly I probably won't be living in this house, but it has been a great two years here. I took this picture right before heading to my senior photography class, it is just all coming to an end.

Day 23

Today was super stressful for me, from work being unexpectedly busy which caused me to have to rush to class. I also had other things I wanted to get done before class, and wasn't able to. That's the unfortunate thing with the a serving job, your "end time" is so unpredictable. So because of this today is the first day that I didn't want to actually take a photograph, but here it is anyways. My "mermaid" hair. You can't see all the colors but, pink, purple, and blue are all in there.

Day 19

I do not like the cold at all. I always make sure I bundle up! This awesome blanket was made by my older sister.

Day 18

Today I decided to do a little day road trip to Iowa to photograph the site for my senior photography project. My friend Ally came along for the ride. Everything was going perfectly fine, minus the waking up early part. We got to be about 3o minutes away from the site and my battery and service check light came on. Ally took this photograph three hours later after I just got a new alternator put into my car. Thanks to the guys at Greene Motors in Davenport, Iowa for their speedy service!

Day 17

I'd been wanting to learn the trumpet part to the song "Elephant Gun" by Beirut for awhile now. Today I finally had time to sit down and do it. Just incase you were curious the note sequence is Bb A Bb D C C Bb Bb Bb A Bb C C D C and D Eb F Eb D D C C C D Eb D C Bb Bb Bb C D Eb D C. It's a really pretty part of the song, and I'm glad I finally learned it.

Day 16

Today was my first scheduled shift in awhile since my managers forgot to put me on the schedule for the last two weeks. So I needed the money today. Ended up being the first server cut and only made $15. My manager felt awful and ended up buying me a whiskey river bbq veggie burger.

Day 12

I used to like to dye my hair all the time when I was in high school. Every now and then I get the same urge to do so now. Today I added some blue and purple highlights to the underneath part of my hair.

Day 11

Laundry day! Otherwise known as wearing the worst of the worst clothing and wearing my hair on top of my head, at least for me anyways.

Day 06

I've lived in Milwaukee for about six years now and I always like to find the little nooks in Milwaukee that I haven't come across before. The weather has been extremely gorgeous for January, as it has been in the mid-40s for the last couple days. This picture is taken at a new little nook I found tonight. Sorry about the quality of the photo, got a little lazy today and just took my photo with my cell phone camera.

Day 02

Not only was it a Monday but it was also right after the holidays, so I went to work today (after about two weeks off) expecting it to be really slow. Instead of what I expected it was pretty busy. This picture is taken outside of my work after that shift.

Day 01
The grass is amazingly green because of all the rain we've been getting lately, and now finally a light layer of snow. This was taken in my backyard of my apartment.
